On Oct. 22nd and 23rd, the School of Journalism and Communication at Carleton University hosted the 2020 Journalism in the Time of Crisis conference, engaging a global network of experts and journalists to discuss the future of journalism.

Rachel Morgan, an undergraduate journalism student, was also in attendance.

Morgan is one of the research assistants who has been working on the conference. On the closing night, she moderated a town hall for journalism students to talk about where they see journalism heading after the pandemic.

I checked in with Morgan after the conference, asking her about her experience moderating the closing town hall and hearing from other students about what they think of the future of journalism.
